Intrinsic ethos is how the writer portrays him or herself through solely the text. The way the text is written and how it conveys the main message builds the authors character, therefore establishing credibility.
Extrinsic Ethos
Extrinsic Ethos is who the author is: the education, experience and performances that build their credibility by giving the authority.
